1.Who needs our CameraMeeting.com service ?
 Any professional wishing to :
  • Interview a job applicant.
  • Introduce a business partner.
  • Run a training course or a conference.
  • Introduce a product or a service to a prospect.
2.How do I subscribe ?
 As part of our introductory offer, our service is free.
3.I am not able to connect.
 This might be due to a number of reasons :
  1. Your access login or password is incorrect.
  2. You are already connected.
  3. The service is temporarily unavailable.
4.The message displayed reads: “you are already connected”.
 
  1. You are not disconnected from the previous conference.
  2. You indicated your conference id to someone and this person is connected in your name.
5.How does it work ?
 Book a time and nominate your guest. At the scheduled time you and your guest will be able to access the conference.
6.I am the host. The button to access the conference doesn’t appear on the screen.
 The button doesn’t appear unless your conference is due at this time.
7.The conference call doesn’t work.
 The server is momentarily unavailable. Try later.
8.Why is the displayed image jerky ?
 We took in account the quality of the image provided and the internet download speed required, which we limited to 80Kbits/second (a standard ADSL line has an average speed of 1024 kbits/sec).
9.Why do I need to use a phone set ?
 
  1. To avoid overloading your internet line and to get a better sound quality.
  2. In case the person you are speaking to doesn’t possess any microphone or speaker.
10.Does the other person I’m speaking to also need a webcam ?
 Not necessarily, only one of the 2 conference participants (or both) requires a webcam. The one who needs to be seen (the job applicant, the salesperson etc…) needs a webcam.
11.I am invited to a conference but I am not able to connect.
 You may have entered an incorrect conference number.

  1. You may be logging to the conference outside of its scheduled time.
  2. Your host is not yet on line.

  1. The scheduled conference has ended.
  2. By leaving the conference, your host closed the session.
14.What do I need to do to run the conference ?
 Simply register and possess a webcam.
15.Which software do I need ?
 Internet Explorer, Firefox or Netscape

16.Which Macromedia plug-in do I need to install if I cannot see any streaming images on my screen ?
  You need Macromedia Flash Player. With this plug-in it is possible to show any content created with Macromedia Flash, such as web applications, animations … The installation runs automatically by clicking the Flash Player logo. The installation is in no way detrimental to your computer or your network.
17.CameraMeeting and firewalls.
 By default Macromedia Flash Communication Server MX uses the 1935 port for the RTMP (Real-Time Messaging Protocol). This port has been assigned to Macromedia by the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) for its Flash Communication Server.
